McGirr Elementary School is part of the Nanaimo Ladysmith Public School District located in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Nanaimo is located on the sunny east coast of Vancouver Island (on the west coast of Canada). McGirr has an enrollment of approximately 460 students from Kindergarten to Grade 7 in 20 divisions.

Robbie Dhillon is the Principal of the school. Bob Brooks is the Vice-Principal.
